About the event
Experience the absolute relaxation and joy offered by the melodious Hindusthani classical. Starting with the fluidic and emotional Patiala style singing that showcases the intricate human emotions manifested through subtle voice projections and nuances. Presented by Shrimati Sudakshina Alagia, Disciple of legendary Vidushi Lakshmi Shankar and Vidushi Poornima Choudhuri. This is followed by an instrument that almost mimics the rain, flowing river and almost transcends you to a lush green Himalayan valley; Santoor. Presented by Shri Vinay Desai, representatiove of the next generation of classical musicians and a disciple of Padmabibhushan Pandit Shiv Kumar Sharma.
Accompanying both are the legendary Tabla drums from India that often captivates the audience by its steady yet complex rhythmic expressions and its ability to weave through slow and fast pace, elevating the audience from a relaxed to an enthused and energetic state.
